I would like to say right now that yaoi does not necessarily mean "porn". It merely refers to a relationship (sometimes sexual) between two males and I do not appreciate being harrassed for liking or having a club on "gay porn". Shounen ai is the same thing and so is slash. I will use all three words to describe things.
And once again, if you are a homophobe, we have no business with you.

It's great to finally be up and running and we're desparate for members and admins, so let's get right to it.

This is a place for the artists of dA to come and watch, submit, and comment about Harry Potter and its yaoi pairings.
Yaoi refers to a 'romantic' relationship between males; or: Male/Male

No het (male/female) or yuri (female/female) is permitted in the Dangerous Detentions gallery or to be favorited by DD.
This is not because we are against it or have any problem with it. It is merely because this is a yaoi club and will remain that way.
Because of this, only males may be in the images we submit and fav.
If you are a member and wish to submit a piece of work to DD that includes a female, but not in a main role or in any way being involved with a male, then it may be discussed, but not necessarily approved.

For those of you who do not support such relationships as male/male, please leave maturely. This is a safe place where people should feel comfortable with their preferences, tastes, writing, and art, so keep any unkind comments to yourself.


With that said, let's get to the good stuff!

Dangerous Detentions is open to anyone of any minority, age group, or amount of talent. We do not judge and expect the same from everyone else.
There will most definetely be mature submissions, but they will be clearly marked for the protection of our younger members and the tastes of others.

We support all yaoi relationships in Harry Potter and allow everything from digital art to fanfictions to sketches. We encourage you as a member to submit your work and promise to give supportive and constructive comments.

If you want to join DD, just watch us and send us a note titled "Join" and we will add you to the list of members.

{MEMBERS ONLY} If you want to submit fanwork to be posted in the gallery, deviate it in your gallery and send a note to us entitled "Submission" with a link to you deviation in the note. We will then approve it and submit it.

We are also accepting Admins to help regulate the journals, submissions, favorites, and members. If you want to be an Admin for Dangerous Detentions, send us a not titled "Admin" and include why you want to be one, how often you're on the computer, and what you think you could do for us.

We would really like a subscription, so if anyone would care to donate us one we'd be eternally grateful. Having a subscription would make it so we could have more advanced journals, a shoutboard, our own forum, polls, and a lot more, so if anyone could be so kind, we'll love you forever.
